(REV) I used to have a very unclean heart but Jesus saved me?

When I was young, I used to have unclean thoughts about dogs and horses, and I was even invited to be on an episode of Jerry Springer because of it. But a friend of mine showed me the Bible and told me about how Jesus was God and died for my sins. A week later I was immersed in baptism and now I'm a new creation, and none of those Satanic thoughts happen any more! How can you possibly explain that?! You can't, can you, because only God can explain how he cleaned my heart, because I accepted Jesus as my Savior and he broke the chains that Satan was holding me with, the chains of lust and depravity!
