Joyriding babysitter..alrighty help please.?

Are a couple of you retarded? The father is NOT liable for anything the teenage babysitter did! The BABYSITTER is the one who went joyriding and endangered the children. NOT dad. He hired someone he thought was going to do a job. He is under NO obligation to hide the car keys or pull the battery out of the car or flatten the tires or whatever else to prevent her from doing what she did. SHE needs to be held accountable for her actions. The father will be in enough torture for the rest of his life when he interviews the next babysitter.
