How can I help my friend's dog? 11 year old, female GSD has undiagnosed infection, can't afford vet bills...?

Let the dog die. It is far cheaper to go the pound and get a new dog than it is to fix a broken one. There are plenty of dogs looking for loving homes. Do not share cat antibiotics. My brother tried that and it just made things worse.
