What would be your best chance to survive this?

If you and two other friends had to swim across the Nile River, full of crocodiles, what would be the best way to do so without getting eaten? Would it be by all three of you going at once, or each of you going separately? Also, would your best swimming method be to swim as fast as you can, thus creating a lot of splashing and bringing attention to crocodiles, or would it be to swim slowly, creating less splashing?
