Is it healthy for gay people to endure the emotional roller coaster of tolerance and bigotry?

Gay marriage is legal, now its not. AIDS has no cure, yes it does. Gays can fight for the country, no they can't. You can have your partner of health care, no you can't. Up and Down they go.
