Do you think opposites or similarities attract in a relationship?

With my partner, we have the same amount of differences as similarities. I find that the tension brought on by opposition is an attraction. I think that attraction in any relationship is highly subjective. It depends on the mental states of each person involved, their preferences, beliefs, and attitudes.
