Boyfriend with pill problem?

hello sweet heart...well this is a pretty sad story but i think i have sum good advice...i want to start off by saying i am actually a 22 year old male who 2 years ago was addicted to oxycontin...however i have been clean and sober for 2 years and im proud of it...now first of all the way you said he has been acting when he is supoosedly messed up on something is the exact definition of when your on oxycontin...EXACT...and i can tell you from experince that once you start with oxy, there is no turning back until sumthing big makes you stop...like getting arrested, overdose ect....now the other pills you described are pretty bad too but nothing compares to the oxy...the fact that he took your dogs pills is just unbelievable...honestly, thats grounds for a break up right there...i duno how you feel about your puppy but i have a 10 yr old beagle that i would give the world for and i swear if a friend of mine stole a single pill that she needed from her, i would break his legs..if a girlfriend stole one, itd b over in a second...i give you credit for even giving him a second chance with that...i wouldnt have...but the fact that he did that shows you he has a problem....maybe its just cuz im an animal lover but i think doing something like that is no different than stealing an oxycontin pill from your mother or grandmother who has cancer and needs them! u know what i mean? i mean animals are family...the second thing is you obviously dont trust him if you have to go through his things and dont get me wrong i completly understand why your doing it and there is nothing wrong with it...but honestly your just wasting your time...this relationship will go no where...and when i was addicted, i was just so bi polar...you cant trust him in your house and you shouldnt be...who knows what else he steals....now if you really love this guy and really wanna stay wtih him than there is one other option and that is that he gets help...like rehab **** like that and if he did decide to do that than i would stick by him because that could mean that he really loves you and is willing to get help and overcome his problem, FOR YOU...see what i mean? i think that would be the untimate test to see how much he cares about you...rehab, or no relationship anymore....but eaither way if it was me, the pill stealing from the dog would be the end....hope i could help and i hope i didnt just give you a bunch of bad news...good luck to ya and also dont think that this guy cant turn into a great boyfriend with a little help...its 2 years later after my addiction and i can tell you i am the sweetest best boyfriend in the world...and im also the best father in the world to my little boy....take care..hope the best!
