Are there any projects to do in 4th yr engg. using java n j2ee which have good value?

any projects which would pep up tech skills like ... using image processing, data mining, genetic algorithms or ant colony optimization etc,....? i am looking for a good project to finish engg. with a bang...or any applications or web sites really interesting to be considered as a project???????
